A Bit Of Tokyo In Paris

October 17, 2008 by J.T.

While we were in Paris for Spring Summer 2009 Fashion Week, we passed by The Palais de Tokyo going back home. The Palais de Tokyo is the Paris’s Art Modern Museum. We decided to stop by and maybe get a drink to relax from Fashion Week crazyness. We got there around 11 pm and we’ve been really surprised by this place’s laid back atmosphere. The restaurant/bar has a very ceilings and from the window you can see the Eiffel Tower (it was blue that night!).

I decided to get a Rio Bamako which is Cachaca (brazilian rhum) + lime and gingember juice.

My fashion week buddy/co-worker  decided to get a Tokyoalapassion (Tokyo a la passion) wich is Vodka + Passion juice + Madarine liquor and Peach syrop.

we haven’t tried the food cause during fashion week we don’t eat!

We had a great time! So if you go to Paris pass by you won’t regret it.

Palais Tokyo houses the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (11 Avenue du President Wilson, 16th M° Alma-Marceau or Iéna Tel 01 53 67 40 80)

Restaurant: 01 47 20 00 29
