Journalist turned designer, Thakoon has been on a roll since dressing Michelle Obama at the Democratic National Convention. White House social secretary Desirée Rogers and Amanda Peet were here to support the designer. The collection was succession of well cut dresses and coats. The hot look of the collection was worn by Bruna, a King Parrot Feathered Fox Winged Cape on a Black Chiffon to Wool Degrade Curved Seamed Dress. We also loved the Black Doublefaced Wool Disco Mirror Paneled Dress and the final worn by Jourdan which was a Black Draped Sequin Tulle one Shoulder Dress.
