Reiss, the U.K. brand that define itself as Iconic, sexy, confident, modern is launching a new denim line, Reiss 1971.

The first reiss store opened in 1971 selling European quality men’s tailoring in the city of London. David reiss, founder and owner kept his vision alive while developing and diversifying the brand.  By 2000, reiss put in place its own in-house design team and atelier securing its design credentials and focusing on expanding its unique offer into a complete range of  Womenswear as well as menswear and accessories.

The collection, which is made up of a mix of men’s and women’s denim jeans and separates, is part of brand director Andy Rogers’s vision to reinvigorate the overall Reiss brand.

The women’s collection comprises five denim fits, including high-waisted, straight-leg, a boyfriend slouch style and a high-waisted kick flare, which will be constants in the line across the seasons, along with pieces such as military-inspired jackets, a swing coat in a black-and-white vintage-inspired print, and pink-and-black zebra print knit sweaters.

Prices for the 1971 line will go from $60 for a tank top to $580 for a coat.

The collection will launch at 10 U.S. stores this month and the company is planning to launch e-commerce as well.
