Thursday October , 2009 – Musee de l’Homme
Sharon Wauchob based her inspiration on her native Ireland for her Spring Summer 2010 Collection. Almost all the pieces of the show had handmade embroidery, which gave a romantic vibe to the modern well cut dresses and shirts.
Rock n’roll attitude, we can even imagine Mick Jaegger or Steven Tyler rocking these tight pants and lace embroidered blouses even though it’s a women’s collection. floaty blouses teamed with bold-shouldered, deconstructed jackets, metallic beaded shoulder pads and thick chain necklaces. The looks were feminine but with this almost tomboy attitude.
