Thursday October 1st – Musee de l’Homme
French couture: “flou and tailoring” that the direction that the belgian Bruno Pieters took for its Spring Summer Collection. The show started with a succession of nude dresses, some see through, some drapped.
Cropped and well fitted jackets with hexagonal short sleeves, black and white bustier cotcktail dresses had standout pockets giving a tighter waist silhouette. A white dress had nude assymetrical “collage/bandage”, A pair of crystal-encrusted sleeveless dresses worn with the redondant voile to cover the hair. The show ended with black looks, short party dresses with flat square flat shape going above the shoulders.
A all dresses collection with very few daywear pieces, but definitely a focus collection on what the clients are waiting for. Bruno Pieters also designs menswear for Hugo, Hugo Boss.
