Moschino Fall Winter 2011 Backstage Beauty

Friday February 25th, 2011 – Palazzo del Senato via Senato, 10

Moschino is known for having a sense of humour and its Fall 2011 show was no exception!

Coco Rocha stole the spotlight sporting a “Chicken Hat”. Hairstylist Odile Gilbert was responsible for securing the hennish headgear on Coco’s head,  rolling models’ tresses into tight and tall conical French twists to mirror the exaggerated and elongated lids.

“It’s a super-classic French twist that’s tight on the sides.” -Odile Gilbert

Tom Pecheux created a retro glamour fifties look through careful use of makeup.“We stole the shape of this dark eye from the sunglasses

in the collection,so it looks like every girl is wearing them on the catwalk whether she is or not” – Tom Pecheux

Pecheux layered MAC Single Matte eye shadow in carbon on top of a Technakohl liner base in Graphblack, followed by a blend of MAC Powder Blush in Pink Swoon underneath the cheek bones to avoid “a pretty look.” Lips were erased with concealer to finish the face and to keep the focus on the eyes.
