The Andam 2011 winner made headlines last season with an outstanding cast of models including Karlie Kloss, Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru, Joan Smalls … wearing tiny black dresses with asymmetrical cuts. For his Fall Winter 2012-2013 collection, Vaccarello took inspiration from military 50′s glamor. The shows opened with a series of total looks duchess satin midnight blue to strict tailoring reminiscent of the uniforms of the navy. The suit pants and shirts buttoned to the neck, is worn under a parka or jacket fluid blazer. Then the cuts become more feminine, giving way to evening gowns with asymmetrical cuts plotted as laser signature style Vaccarello. A dress plays the effect of male-female conflict, between a bustier on one side and a jacket sleeve on the other. A shirt buttoned to the collar is worn with a miniskirt sexy ultra high waist and delicate lace is worn on jackets men. The bustiers and mini evening dresses are adorned with details like the 50′s lingerie straps, buttons and garter belt straps so. But instead of black uniform which he had accustomed us from his latest collection, the designer adds this season hints of iridescent color, with emerald green and gold lamé. As for accessories, this season Anthony Vaccarello sign a collaboration with Italian shoemaker Giuseppe Zanotti for a collection of seven models, four of which were presented in the parade. Shoes with both sleek and sexy dark lacquered leather, adorned with thin straps recalling the lingerie-inspired collection or matte leather boots in the military spirit of the first looks. The footwear collection will go on sale in August and will be available in selected stores.
