Carven Spring 2012 Menswear Collection
March 27, 2012 by J.T.
After infusing freshness and modernity to the CARVEN womenswear for 4 seasons now, Guillaume Henry introduces his first menswear collection for the summer 2012. His vision does not differ from his fashion for women. It’s all about well cut wearable clothes for real people as Henry likes to say. But the Carven spirit still remains, this attention to details that the couture house is known for. For the summer 2012 the designer references Brassai and Doisneau’s visions of Paris. The Carven man is a romantic grown up school boy wearing an apricot torsado jumper and gabardine shorts. His young “teacher” suit is well adjusted, pants rolled up, the vest is worn over a white collar shirt, a Carven signature.
