Mugler launches a shirt capsule collection
June 27, 2012 by J.T.
Mugler kicked off his foray into online retailing with a ready to wear shirt capsule collection developed by creative director Nicola Formichetti and men’s wear designer Romain Kremer. Exclusively available online, the shirts reflect the modern and futuristic world of Mugler with buttons replaced by rubberized press studs and trompe l’oeil effects. The line also includes styles made in silk jacquard, a nod to their Fall Winter 2012 show. Both slimline and classic shirts appear in the capsule offering a versatile wardrobe for the contemporary man, which includes everything from casual to corporate and evening wear.
Each shirt comes packaged in a sleek black Mugler box. Priced competitively from $177 to $656, there’s definitely a little something for every man.
The Mugler shirt capsule collection will be available online only, in France straight after the spring summer 2013 menswear show on the 27th of June, in the UK from the 20th of July and for the USA from the end of July.
