Somewhere between the “money bags” so beloved by the men of the casinos during the 1960s and the classic businessman’s attaché case, the new LANVIN document holders reinvent the aesthetic of the men’s handbag and define the key accessory of the Winter 2012 show. Embossed leather, their rigid, graphically designed frame is available in two versions: a large laptop model with a detachable Ipad case, with a passport and wallet compartment and a smaller design for digital tablets, with extra pockets for mobile phone and papers. Materials look to luxurious leathers with hi-tech finishing details, such as an iced calfskin in dark brown, burgundy or petrol blue or a sumptuous rubberized calfskin in navy or mastic.
