The L’Oreal Professional Products Academy tests products for all the L’Oreal USA Professional Product brands including: L’Oreal Professionnel, Redken, Pureology, Matrix, Mizani, Kerastase, and Shu Uemura.
“Each week our purpose is to evaluate the products in real world scenarios to ensure that the performance lives up to the high standards and expectations we set for them before they hit the market,” says Assistant Vice President of Testing and Technical Development Shawn Stearns.
“This is your opportunity to be the first to experience the uptotheminute new salon services with the latest technology and ingredients and most vibrant new hair colors, and techniques.”
If you are interested in becoming a hair model follow the steps below:
STEP 1 – Attend a 15 minute evaluation at our stateoftheart testing center
Location: 435 Hudson Street in the West Village, NYC.
When: Held weekly on TuesdayFriday from 9a.m. to 12p.m. and 2p.m. to 4p.m.
STEP 2 – Meet with a licensed cosmetologist to determine which salon services are right for your hair type.
STEP 3 After the evaluation and allergy test, participants will be scheduled for a free hair color, styling, relaxer, straightening, or treatment appointment.
The perks of being a model for the L’Oreal Professional Products Academy, outside of having the best looking hair for absolutely no cost, is that participants also receive FREE professional products for at home use and are eligible to receive passes to the private L’Oreal Employee Company Store where participants can buy makeup, fragrances, hair products, skin products, and nail polishes, just to name a few, at 75% off retail.
