Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura
October 22, 2012 by J.T.
For this collection, Karl Lagerfeld chose each color of each product, featuring still bold and vibrant shades, as the past collaboration-collections of the brand. It includes two eye and cheek palette with shades inspired by the creations of the designer, a powdered rouge unlimited lipstick featuring the brightest red, an eyeliner, a red glitter nail polish, kawaii false eyelashes highlighting the colors of the collection – red and black, an eyelash curler – favorite tool of fashion shows’ backstage redesigned by Karl Lagerfeld, a pencil case adorned with the silver logo SUKL designed by Karl Lagerfeld filled with a set of mini brushes, an A/O premium balance cleansing oil, a TSUYA skin UV under base youthful radiance mousse and a premium mini make-up box hand decorated with a Shu My Girl.
Showing another of his talents, Karl Lagerfeld also oversaw the campaign as director of photography.
The collection will be available at colette until early November 2012, and in retail outlets mid-November 2012.
