We saw the sketches now we get to see the final result. As a collaboration for The Gap’s 40th Anniversary, a London pop-up exhibition of Garance’s sketches and photos will feature the talented Parisian artist’s quirky line drawings, stunning style shots and stacks of her limited-edition tees.

“Limited Edition“, we hear this form of words so many times in the retail world, in the Garance Dore & Gap collaboration it will be really limited. Only 69 tees will be available in each style. Garance is in talk with Gap to get them putting an additional stack available online so crossed finger for the moment because so of us are nowhere near London.

In tonight Rachel Zoe project we will get to see Rachel Zoe visiting Diane Von Furstenberg studio to get a sneak peak of the Fall Winter 2009 Collection.

Diane explained “This collection is called ‘nomad’. Wherever she goes, she belongs. Her clothes are her friends.” Diane continued to explain that much of the inspiration was drawn from her travels in the Middle East. She eloquently mentioned “The inspiration for this collection was also to give women real clothes, comfy warm pieces. The colors are drawn from the desert tones.”

Womens loves DVF because like Diane pointed out, it’s real clothes. We saw  beautiful looks on the runways  but sometimes it’s most likely not wearable and frequently very expensive. With Diane Von Furstenberg collections it’s different, your runway dream can definitely come to reality!

Rodarte Team Up With Colette

Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy are teaming up with Colette to create a month long Rodarte mini store retail space and and gallery.

The brand will offer their Fall Winter 2009 collection + some new pieces.

Located on Colette’s second floor, the gallery will be unveiled during Paris Fashion Week and remain open for the rest of that month.

It was Colette buyer Sarah Lerfel’s suggestion to create the store and gallery.

In addition to a selection of specially created Rodarte pieces like stuffed, knitted animals

Colette will also exclusively sell Rodarte’s marbled ballet flats, which the duo created in collaboration with Repetto.

We get to see Jil Sander’s comeback! Images of the +J by Jil Sander for UNIQLO women’s collection are in exclusivity on voguedaily . The collection present the designer’s usual minimalism Sander’s signature. We can say that these clothes are so Jil Sander that I could have believe that they could come from her own closet!

We discover the classic pieces that we won’t never have enough of, like the classic wool grey V neck sweater, a white shirt masculine shirts , cuffed flannel pants, blazers with collar straps , legging-pants in shade of gray, black, khaki, with also some light pink touches. This is the type of clothes that you look forward when winter come.

I was expecting luxurious fabrics such as cashmere, silk & cashmere since Uniqlo offers a line of cashmere sweaters. In fact the the pieces will be made of cotton, wool and nylon probably to offer a very competitive price.
