Valentino Receive The Rodeo Drive Walk Of Style Award

The always tanned designer has been honored as the 13th recipient of the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award.

Anne Hathaway presented his friend Valentino remembering the great time they had on the set of “The Devil Wears Prada” three years ago.

Branding the Robert Graham designed “Torso” statuette, Hathaway said, “Because of his friendship and influence on me, I am a Valentino creation.”

Valentino declared that it’s an honor to receive this statuette in Beverly Hills since he has always been always captivated by the glamour and mystery of Hollywood’s stars, “Beverly hills will always inspire me“.

“I love the Valentino creations, owning a Valentino dress is like owning a piece of art. He is so much inspiration for me” said the newly designer Gwyneth Paltrow.

Wednesday, the Matt Tyrnauer-directed documentary “Valentino: The Last Emperor” had its West Coast premiere at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Guests included Tom Ford, Joan Collins, James Galanos, Rita Wilson and several of Valentino’s one-time models, such as the sulfurus Janice Dickinson and Kelly Lynch.

Valentino said he misses the exctitment of designing collections every seasons but he gets to live his life more quietly and get to go to the Opera more often, which is one of his passion.

Gwyneth Paltrow Designs For Charity

gwyneth-paltrow-zoe-tee-1 Gwyneth Paltrow and French premium jersey maker Zoe Tee’s have created a seven-look collection called Zoe Tee’s Loves Gwyneth Paltrow.

Mixed of day styles for day and nighttime wear for fall.

The fabrics used are cashmere blends, recycled cotton and wool mesh. The style is mélange of Seventies glamour, rock inspiration and men’s casual suiting. A second collection is slated for spring 2010. All proceeds generated from the clothes will go to Kids Company, a charity Paltrow selected.
