Backstage Beauty at Versace Spring 2016

Friday September 25th, 2015 – Palazzo Delle Scintille

To enhance the individuality of the girls at Versace’s Spring/Summer 2016 show, Redken Global Creative Director Guido used Redken’s glow dry style-enhancing blow-dry oil and Diamond Oil High Shine Airy Mist to add sexy, easy shine to the finished look.

“The look at Versace this season is all about the individual, healthy, glowing woman. There’s such a wide range of beauty and Donatella just wanted me to enhance the hair, not change it, so it’s got kind of a glamourous, rock and roll feeling. I let the hair dry naturally so it has that beautiful texture, and then added a little bit of shine using Redken’s new glow dry, which is a blow-dry oil, and then Diamond Oil High Shine Airy Mist so it has a little sexiness to it, but with an ease.” Guido

Get the look:

1.      Apply 4 – 5 pumps of Redken glow dry style-enhancing blow-dry lotion throughout damp hair and rough blow-dry to            keep most of the hair’s natural texture.

2.       Let hair air dry completely.

3.       Create a center part with fingers and tousle to enhance movement.

4.       Finish by spraying Redken Diamond Oil High Shine Airy Mist all over hair to add instant lightweight shine.

MAKEUP

“It’s all about the individual Versace woman, and bringing out the best of every girl,”
“Donatella didn’t want a lot of makeup, she just wanted the girls to be glowing. McGrath added a bit of brown shadow around the eyes, mascara, a swirl of blush and lots of highlighter.” Pat McGrath
